DVD players prices have been dropping steadily since the format's introduction nearly five years ago, while current models have more features and better performance than more expensive models a couple of years ago.  Today, entry-level DVD players can be had for less than $150.  And though we don't recommend them, budget models can be had for well under $100.  Here are some examples of solid performing brand-name entry-level DVD players and their incredible bargains:
