Summary: The Last Castle refers to a
military prison where court marshaled U.S. servicemen go to serve their
time. When a highly respected three-star General Irwin (Robert
Redford) pleads guilty to a war crime, he is locked up in The Last
Castle. Though Irwin simply wants to serve his time and move on
with his personal life, the evil-tempered prison warden (James Gandolfini)
makes life difficult for Irwin after he unknowingly insults the warden.
Irwin is forced to command again, to help bring the much-needed justice to The
Last Castle. Mind you, this is not your typical raunchy prison
flick. This is a top-notch, inspiring military-themed movie that is
wonderfully performed by the entire cast. Robert Redford is a
master. My socks were knocked off with the awesome action sequences
and the smart script. Action fans and military movie buffs, don't miss this one!
