Academy
Award winner for Best Film, Best Supporting Actress, Best Producers,
and Best Adapted Screenplay
Summary: Russell Crowe plays John Nash,
a brilliant mathematician who is searching for his one big idea that will
revolutionize the world. As much of an academic genius as he is,
socially, he is
disadvantaged. A Beautiful Mind takes us through John's
life as he struggles to find his place in humanity and the truths that
he discovers along the way. This film is completely engrossing and
is as entertaining as it is heart-warming. The acting performances were
stellar across the entire cast. Russell Crowe gives a breathtaking
performance in portraying his very unique character. Jennifer Connelly is superb in her role
as the patient and devoted wife, a role that earned her an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress earlier this year. This film
about courage and triumph of the human heart is an absolute must-see. For DVD collectors, this Awards Edition DVD is a 2-disc set and comes in
either full
screen or widescreen
versions. The bonus features are rich in both quality and
quantity. It's a very collectible DVD... highly recommended.
