Summary: "Autumn in New York" is sweet and tender romantic movie that you and
your loved one is sure to enjoy.  Make sure you get out the Kleenex tissues.  As a
DVD, it disappoints as it contains no bonus material whatsoever.

New York's most handsome, successful eligible Manhattan restaurateur Will Keane (Richard Gere) is still playing the field and determines to keep his bachelor status.  Out to celebrate her birthday at her favorite restaurant where she is secretly attracted to the proprietor, Charlotte Fielding (Winona Ryder) catches Will's eyes and immediately he wants to have a fling with her.

Soon enough, Charlotte realizes that Will and her mother had crossed path in the distant past.  Nonetheless, Charlotte is lured and seduced by Will to go out on a date with him.  At the event, Charlotte runs in with Lisa who questions Will's background.  Meanwhile, Charlotte convinces Will to have a meaningful relationship with her even though she may only has a short time to live.  While Will spends time with Charlotte, he learns the power of love where he least expects.  What he fears most will give him the strength to face life challenges ahead.

The are absolutely no bonus material in this DVD, which is quite disappointing.

The image quality of this anamorphic widescreen DVD very good.  The colors are accurate and saturated, while shadow detail is also good.  The Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround sound is quite effective and well balanced.  The dialogue is easy to hear, even over the nice musical score.
