This
model is Panasonic's 5-disc DVD changer with a carousel design. As with other Panasonic models (e.g.,
DVD-RV30, DVD-CV40), the picture quality and its scan search and slow-motion effects
are top notch. Its features include: Digital Cinema Mode for a
more cinema-like picture, Dialogue Enhancer to hear the dialogue channel
easier, Advanced Virtual
Surround Sound, a built-in Dolby Digital decoder, component video outputs, and
glow-in-the dark remote control buttons. The Disc Exchange feature allows four discs to be
accessed while a fifth disc is playing. Panasonic makes a more
affordable 5-disc front-loading changer (model DVD-CV40),
which does not
have a built-in Dolby Digital decoder, component video outputs, and

This model features Sony's DSP
Servo control system (tracks DVDs and CDs better and shortens
track/chapter access time), and best-in-industry SmoothScan search and
SmoothSlow slow-motion modes. It features a built-in Dolby
Digital decoder and Sony's proprietary Digital Cinema Sound modes,
component video outputs, and shuttle controls on the front-panel and
remote.

forward/reverse, Digital Video Noise Reduction, variable-coefficient
